Cape Town, we’ve been listening… and we know one thing: finding a space to gather, create and connect is tough, so we decided to flip the script.
Welcome to The Community Ground - YOUR space at the Starbucks Sea Point store.
“We’ve created this buzzing space above our Sea Point store especially for anyone who has something to share,” says Leah McCrae, Managing Director, Rand Capital Coffee, Licensee Starbucks SA. “It’s about giving people the platform they need, whether that’s to host an event, showcase a brand, or simply connect with others.”
Think yoga flows, book clubs, content shoots, side-hustle pop-ups, strategy sessions, or just connecting with your community over great coffee. And the best part? You just book it on the Starbucks App.
Since July, The Community Ground has already hosted yoga mornings, brand showcases, strategy meet-ups, and Sociable App events, but honestly, we’re only just getting started. This space was built for YOU.
So, if you’ve got an idea, a passion project, or just want to connect with like-minded people, this is your stage. We’ve got the coffee, the great atmosphere, and the good energy. You just bring the magic.
Welcome In.
