Gamers Set the Pace at Rosebank Mall in First Heat ofMTN SHIFT Gaming Experience

From EAFC 25™ to Beat Saber, over R250 000 in prizes and two national titles are up for grabs in South Africa’s biggest gaming tournament.


The 2025 MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience kicked off in style at Rosebank Mall this June, drawing a crowd of sharp players and eager spectators. Competitors battled it out across multiple titles including EAFC 25™, Beat Saber and Rocket League, with winners earning Rosebank Mall gift cards and a chance to compete at the National Finals at Canal Walk in September.


EAFC:


  • 1st Place: Imraan Williams | 23 years old

  • 2nd Place: Hamza Moosa | 16 years old

  • 3rd Place: Zahir Patel | 21 years old


Beat Saber:
